How to Look Like a Tech Whiz and Build an Audience

Know what’s fun?

Looking like a whiz.

Looking like a (the?) leader in your niche.

Leaving the impression that you must have a big team behind you.

Sometimes it’s something trivial, but even those things can leave impressions.

Little example: on my other (libertarian) email list, I sometimes include embedded videos in my emails. Yet everyone knows you can’t embed a video in an email. Yet somehow I do it….

Heh.

When I was a kid, my weatherman was Todd Gross, on ABC Channel 5 in Boston.

He’s not a weatherman anymore.

Why? Well, let’s just say he found his calling elsewhere.

In 2015 he did $160,000,000 in affiliate sales, and sales of his own products.

So yeah, now he gets his weather reports by checking an app on his phone, like the rest of us.

In particular, Todd is a whiz when it comes to video.

I’ve probably built 75% of my following out of my videos. So yeah, video works, and you’re leaving a lot of dough and a big audience on the table without it.
